What's good music?

This is totally unrelated to pick-up, but I thought it would be fun to post what I’m listening to right now, and list my influences when it comes to writing music myself. You’ll probably find that the music is mellower and acoustic than rock (but I have thrown in a few metal songs) and thus my screen name SHOULD have been “Mellowy” or “Popper” lol… but names like that doesn’t get you laid. Game is all in the screen name baby, all in the screen name. I’m going to keep rokking all night long baby… all night long.

John Mayer – I really like this dude and his latest album “Continuum” is awesome all the way through. He’s hooking up with some fine famous ladies too… respect.
Songs to listen to:

Clarity
Something’s Missing
Slow Dancing in a Burning Room
Bold As Love (Hendrix cover)

Matt Nathanson – Has a great stage show and a bunch of awesome songs… Classic singer/songwriter pop.
Then I’ll Be Smiling
I Saw
All We Are
Bent

Griffin House – Been listening a lot to these guys lately, they are amazing. Their songs are SUPER AFC… ridiculously AFC but very beautiful. Griffin House, please contact me and I’ll sort you out, you need it lol.
The Guy Who Says Good-Bye to You Must Be Out Of His Mind
Ordinary Day
Better Than Love
Ah Me

Damien Rice – Been listening to this fella forever, but he’s still amazing. If you don’t know who he is, check him out! Perfect music if you are having a chill after-party.
The Blower’s Daughter
Cannonball
Grey Room
Dogs

William Fitzsimmons – You probably can’t get mellower than this. Cool thing is that he writes and produces all music himself, and plays all instruments himself.
Everything Has Changed
Mend Your Heart
Passion Play
Kylie

Soilwork – Haha this is melodic heavy / death / black metal so very different from the artists above, but I’ve still listened a lot to them lately… I love their songs, and reminds me of the time when I used to play metal guitar.
Like The Average Stalker
Weapon of Vanity
Distance
Sworn To a Great Divide

Honorary Mentions
Lifehouse – You and Me
Jack Johnson - Taylor
Eddie Vedder - Society
Children of Bodom – Kissing the Shadows
Eric Johnson – Cliffs of Dover
Buckethead – Jordan
